When styling any area of my house I gravitate towards texture and things that pop. When I found these old frames at an antique store, I knew they would be perfect to add some texture to create this living framed greenery. This was super simple to make! It would look great in any area of your home. It is definitely a statement piece and everyone will ask where you got it from and be super impressed that you made it yourself!
Step 1: Find some old frames | These frames were found at an antique store in Vermont. There were tons of them and I regret not buying more than two of them!
These can easily be found at an antique store and even on Etsy. They do not have to match at all! Getting a few different style picture frames would look great.
Step 2: Find some greenery | I used this particular greenery from Hearth and Hand because of the wire it is attached to and because of how lush it is.
You could just use a stalk of faux greenery as well that you can get from Target or Hobby Lobby.
Step 3: Attach greenery to frame | The wiring the greenery comes on is round, so I got some pliers and cut off the pieces that the greenery
was not directly attached to. Then, I manipulated the greenery into the frame the way I wanted it and attached it to the back of the frame with
some black electrical tape.
The 3-d and textured look of this framed greenery is perfect and so easy to do!
It is a perfect weekend project to do and looks great in any space!
