DIY Photo Collage for Under $30

Spaces Weekly Digest Pinterest Graphic

Photo collages are one of the best things to add to any wall in your house to fill it up and give it life! The one big problem I always found with photo collages is the cost. Buying a single framed photo from the store can cost $30, and no one wants to pay that kind of money, especially when you want to make a collage of 4-6 photos! But, in just a few easy steps, you can easily do it yourself and make a gorgeous photo collage with 6 photos for under $30!

Step 1: This is one of my best-kept secrets! Run, don’t walk, to DOLLAR TREE. Each picture frame costs $1. Literally, $1 per frame! The dollar tree I went to had black and brown wooden frames. You can buy them online too but in quantities of 12. But for $12, who wouldn’t be buying these frames! You honestly cannot tell the difference between these $1 frames and other frames that cost over $20! Click this link, search “picture frames” are there are tons of sizes and colors to choose from!

Step 2: I always love the framed botanical pieces I find online and in stores, but I do not like that they are so expensive. So, I went searching online for some printouts on Etsy and found these great ones! Click here (Eucalyptus Watercolor Print ) for these specific botanical prints! There are so many to choose from on Etsy and so affordable. They were on sale for $17 at the time, but are regularly under $22. Such a steal for the quality and you help support a small business!

Step 3: Next, download the printouts to your computer, go online to Walgreens or CVS and print them off! They are always running sales, usually 50% off, so you can easily print off 6 photos in size 8×10 for under $5.

Step 4: The last step is to find the perfect wall! I have an awkward size shaped wall in our hallway upstairs, so these frames and prints worked perfectly to give that modern farmhouse vibe when walking upstairs.
