How to Style Modern Farmhouse Shelves

Styling shelves with a modern farmhouse vibe is definitely one of my favorite parts when designing areas in my home! I have shelves in the bathroom, hallways, and living rooms just so I can style them! There is never a plan when it comes to what to buy, I just buy items from different retailers and keep mixing and matching them until it seems pleasing. I also focus on color schemes and textures and always make sure there is some soft greenery in place too. Below are some of my favorite places that I buy my pieces from to create this modern farmhouse vibe.

1. Katrina and Co. | Katrina and Co. have amazing pieces that work great for modern farmhouse shelves! If you click this link (Katrina and Co), click shop, and go through the Collection labeled Everyday Decor you will find some great affordable pieces that bring about warmth and modern farmhouse vibes to any shelf.

2. Antique Farmhouse | I wish I could buy everything from Antique Farmhouse. Honestly, I spend hours going through their site looking for stuff to buy to fill up shelves. The prices are great and there are always new things to look through!

3. Decor Steals | Decor Steals has the best knickknacks for creating a gorgeous modern farmhouse shelf. They even have shelves to buy at budget-friendly prices! Click this link ( Decor Steals) and search through some great stuff! The prices are unbeatable!

4. Amazon | I find so many great pieces on Amazon. Usually, if I find an inspirational item that I love, the first place I check is Amazon. The candlesticks (linked here) and the amber jars (linked here) are budget-friendly and great modern farmhouse finds!

5. Home Goods | Home Goods is the best place to find tons of small decor pieces that work great when styling shelves. The blue and orange jug in the photo above came from Home Goods, in the clearance section. That is my go-to section first! There is a small imperfection on one side of this jug which is why it was discounted! Always check your items at Home Goods, because if it is not on clearance and you notice a small imperfection, let them know and you will get a 10-20% discount!

6. Target | There is nothing greater than walking around Target aimlessly, and purchasing unnecessarily. Hearth and Hand, Threshold, and Studio McGee are my favorite retailers at Target! I always wait for the full-price items I love, like the cream and white vase above, to go on sale, and then I buy it! It is definitely worth the wait to save a few dollars!

Where to buy these items:

Amber Jars: Amazon

Candlesticks: Amazon

Book Bundle: Antique Farmhouse search “books”

Cream Vase: Target – Studio McGee
